Week 5
In English this week we looked at a poem by Ian McMillan called ‘10 Things You Will Find in a Wizard’s Pocket.’ We then used this as inspiration for a poem about what we might find in Neil Armstrong’s pocket. The children had to use expanded noun phrases and we all did really well. Have our look at our imaginative poems below.
In Maths Year 1s learnt to subtract using objects and then a number line. Year 2s have been learning to divide and have also learnt to double and halve using a Part Part Whole Model.
