Term 2, Week 5

This week Apples and Pears have been busy practicing our class assembly and Christmas play. We are very proud with how well they are doing and how well they performed in the assembly this morning.

In Literacy this week we have continued with the children’s interest in space and looked at Aliens. They created their own Alien picture and were using their sounds to label them.

In Maths we have looked at day and night. We discussed what happens in the day and night and how it changes from daylight to night. We then looked at our day and night routine and sequenced our events of the day.

We very were lucky and excited to see some snow fall on Friday Morning! The children spent some time in our outside area trying to catch the snow, watching it fall and discussing what happens to the ice. They were very good at describing what the ice felt like!

Don’t forget our Christmas play on Thursday 7^th December at 2pm in the school Hall.

Lastly Christmas jumper day is also on Thursday 7^th December, please wear a Christmas jumper with your school uniform.
