Music at Park Way
Young Voices 2024
Music is an important part of life at Park Way. In addition to class music lessons, Rock Steady, and group keyboard and guitar lessons, children in KS1 enjoy singing assemblies on Tuesday mornings and KS2's singing assembly takes place on Thursday mornings. Last academic year, all children in Years 5 and 6 took part in a Carolathon in Maidstone town centre to raise money for Demelza House, who provide care for terminally ill babies, children and young people across Kent and the South East. We are also fortunate to be able to take our choir to take part in the Young Voices concert at the O2 every year.

On Tuesday 30th January, 41 children and 5 members of staff travelled to the O2 in London to take part in the Young Voices concert. It was a tiring but amazing day which was enjoyed by all.
