School Council

The School Council is made up of representatives from each class, from Year 1 upwards, across the school. Council members are voted for by the members of their class. The aim of the council is to give the children a voice within the school.

School Council meet every term. They look for ways to improve the school and discuss school based issues.

So far the council have:

  • spoken to an Area Safeguarding Adviser about safeguarding in school.
  • interviewed potential new staff members.
  • taken an active role in developing provision at lunchtime.
  • set up the Walk On Wednesday scheme across the school.
  • considered ways to improve our school environment.

If you would like to raise an issue with the school council, either talk to your class representative or leave a message in the school council box by Maple Class.
