Welcome back to Term 5

Welcome back to Term 5! We cannot believe how fast this year is going. This term our topic is Inventions that Changed the World, looking at the history of inventions that have changed the course of history and could change our lives further in the future. 

Our Literacy text this term is Danny the Champion of the World. Please encourage your children to tell you all about the story. 

Home Learning: 

Please remember children should be completing TT Rockstars, Spelling Shed and reading daily as part of their home learning. This is monitored and is essential to forming the skills they need in all their learning. 

PE: 

This term PE is on a Monday, children should come to school in their school PE kit (black trouser or shorts, a plain t-shirt in their team colour and trainers or plimsols). Swimming will be on a Thursday. 

Class assembly:

Elm class' class assembly is this Friday 19th April. Please wait outside the hall doors, we aim to start just after 9:00.
