What a brilliant week of learning we've had!
In Maths, we had great fun consolidating our knowledge of fractions by splitting biscuits and cakes into halves and quarters. Our Year 2s even managed to demonstrate 3/4 and 1/3. Don’t forget to check our Teams page for some delightful photos! We also kicked off our time lessons, with Year 2 learning to calculate hours and minutes, while Year 1 focused on recalling the days of the week and months of the year.
In English, we recounted our Beach Day, honing our skills in the past tense and sharing our feelings. Meanwhile, in Science, we explored the best materials for flying paper aeroplanes and will discuss our findings next week. Lastly, in R.E, we created our own Sukkah tents to learn about the Jewish festival of Sukkot, which commemorates the journey of Jewish ancestors in the desert.
What a week! Have a great weekend.
