This week has been a hot and sunny one at Park Way! We have been very careful to look after ourselves in the heat, making sure we drink plenty and wear our sun hats.
In Literacy we have looked at the book Sharing a Shell. We created our own sea creatures using junk modelling. The children enjoyed creating their own creations and were able to talk about what they had created and how.
In Maths we looked at positional language and how it changes from different perspectives. They had a go at moving different objects to different places and explaining where their new position was.
We have spent lots of time keeping cool under our big tree in the outside area. We have also spent time in the water tray discussing full, empty and half full and have created sand creations in the sand pit. We also enjoyed sharing some books and drawing some pictures in the shade.
Keep safe over the weekend,
The EYFS Team.
