Week ending 5.12.25

The week started with a visit to St Martin's Church where the children learnt about the nativity story through the eyes of Mary, the shepherds and how Christians light advent candles each week in preparation for Christmas Day.

The play rehearsals are coming together and most children are remembering their lines and dances! Thank you to all parents who've provided their child with a costume.

In Maths, the children have learnt how to compare and order numbers up to 100, and in English they've started learning how to write a diary entry using the past tense.

In Computing, children looked at the difference between digitally created art and physical art, and they created some lovely pictures of sunflowers in the Pointillist style using paint and small round sticks.

In DT, children made some delightful 3D gingerbread houses.
