This week in our class, we’ve been buzzing with excitement!
In Maths, we dived into the world of multiplication, focusing on the 2, 5, and 10 times tables. The children enjoyed learning about arrays and played some fun games to reinforce their skills, even making fortune tellers to help with their practice.
In English, we explored The Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram. Bob, the main character, doesn’t believe in aliens, which sparked the children’s creativity. They had a blast designing and describing their own aliens for Bob to meet, and we used Teachmate AI to bring their imaginative characters to life!
In History, we learned about the inspiring Amy Johnson and the children created beautiful stamps featuring her. Our music session was filled with the enchanting sounds of Holst’s The Planets, and in Science, we investigated food chains, discovering how energy flows in nature.
What a fantastic week of learning! Have a wonderful half term - see you on Monday 23rd February.
