Week ending 7th November 2025

This week our literacy learning how been focused on grammar.  We have been learning about the difference between independent clauses and subordinate clauses and where we should place a comma (if needed).

In numeracy, Year 4 have been consolidating their learning on multiplication and division and using ‘fact families’ to support their understanding.  Year 3 have been learning about number bonds to 100, using multiples of 10.  They also explored the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. 

Thank you to those who have already sent in a small cardboard box (no bigger than a show box) for our DT this term.  If you have any newspapers at home, please do send them in with your child, it would be much appreciated.
