In literacy this week we have been learning about expanded noun phrases and how we can improve our writing by adding more detail. We have read some more of our class text, The Cave Explorer by Kate Winter. The children have been fascinated by the huge amount of cave painting that were found in the Lascaux Caves!
In maths both Year 3 and 4 have been extending their knowledge of place value and have learnt how to show the expanded form and how to partition up to 4 digits.
On Wednesday, for our PE session, we are lucky to have an external coach in school. He will be teaching the children cricket. Hopefully the weather will stay dry and we will be able to use the field for this.
A huge thank you to those of you that are reading with your child. It really does make a difference !
Enjoy your weekend.
