Cherry Class Blog 2025 26 Week 3 Term 3 (1)

Welcome everyone to the mid-point of Term 3!

Thank you for your support this morning, it was lovely to see so many parents and family members come into school on such a wet, dreary day and watch our class assembly. As I said at the time, what was shown was only a small snapshot of our learning (and yes, we do 'do' other learning apart from the Mayans!)

In Literacy this week we have been using fantastic vocabulary to describe a Mayan Lord of Death and in Numeracy Yea 5 have finally finished their block of learning linked to multiplication and division, whilst Year 6 looked at decimals, in particular rounding and addition and subtraction.

In Science we looked at reversible and irreversible changes and in PSHE we investigated AI and created a poster about both their advantages and disadvantages.

In gymnastics the class worked in pairs to put a sequence together of counter balances and in RE we looked at Islam, in particular the first pillar and the origins of the call to prayer.
