Walnut Class Term 4 Week 1

What a good start to Term 4!!! 

For Literacy we've learned how to create compound sentences and how to use subordinating clauses in our writing.

During Maths we've focused on length and perimeter. Children learned how the calculate the perimeter of various shapes.

Our Topic for Term 4 is 'Shake It!' We investigated different states of matter and looked at the properties of the different types of milk. 

For Geography we've learned about the foods imported from other countries to the UK. Children used the world maps to find these countries and label the food we're importing.

Please remember: PE is every Monday afternoon for Term 4.

Please remember our P.E kit is:
• Plain black shorts
• Plain black tracksuit bottoms
• T shirt in team colour
• School sweatshirt or unbranded grey or black hoodie
• Plimsoles or trainers

Reminders:

Swimming is on as usual on Tuesday afternoons – please ensure children have their swimming kits and that they attend these sessions as they are part of the curriculum.
